Dr.Krzysztof Goetzen recently passed the American Board of Psychiatry and
Neurology “Neurology Maintenance” Certification exam. Dr. Goetzen, a Neurologist
with Beloit Health System since 1999, passed his original Board exam in 2004. Dr.
Goetzen has his practice at Beloit Clinic.
Dr. Goetzen
was highly recognized for his outstanding exam results with a perfect score in
the areas of pain disorders, demyelinating disease, neuro-opthalmology,
neuroinfectious diseases, best practice issues and many other areas. His total score of 86 exceeds the national
average of 68.
Some of the commonly encountered conditions treated by
neurologists include headaches, radiculopathy, neuropathy, stroke, dementia, seizures and epilepsy, Alzheimer's Disease, Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, Parkinson's Disease, Tourette's syndrome, multiple sclerosis, head trauma, sleep disorders, neuromuscular diseases, and various infections and tumors of
the nervous system.
