Join Sign Language Classes At Beloit Hospital


Beloit Hospital is organizing two levels of Sign Language classes which will begin on September 8thand 9th . Advanced classes with more conversation, for those who have some knowledge of the language or have taken previous classes, will be on Tuesday the 9th. 

All classes will run from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for 10 weeks.  Books for both classes (Signing Illustrated) can be purchased at Turtle Creek Bookstore in Beloit.  The cost for the classes is $30.00.  To register or for more information email Lesetta Thompson at lthom@charter.net or call Debbie Little at (608)-364- 0758.  Required on-site registration confirmation and payment will be from 3:00 to 6:00 pm Thursday September 4th at the hospital at 1969 W. Diabetes Care Support Group


Diabetes Care Support Group Meets August 28th at 1 p.m. at the beloit hospital, Wisconsin. Free and registration is not required. For more information, call 608-364-5137 or 608-364-5138. No physician order needed.

Beloit Health System Diabetes Education Program.

A team of instructors provides information on how to manage and cope with diabetes. Registration is required. A family or friend is encouraged to attend with no extra charge. This one 9-hour class is offered four times a year and a referral from the physician is necessary.
